Dear lord. I've been sitting here for the past five minutes trying to figure out what I think of Madonna's dress. If I like it or hate it. I realise that I like the Vionnet piece. It's playful, fun, light hearted and pretty - but I've come to the conclusion the issue is not the dress - its that it's on Madonna. Her body and age are just wrong for this dress. I think she would have suited the black and gold Miy Miu number instead.
It's unbunched up at the waist, sitting uncomfortably in a roll. Then the back is literally gaping open because she doesn't fit it properely. Also it's the first time Madonna is starting to show signs of aging on her arms and hands. Which is good because it's good to grow old with a bit of grace and not hold on to the dream too long....
