What would you wear to another fun night of celebration?

I’ve had a thing for gowns with a train lately, for a gown is nothing without a train. So in response to that question, I’d wear and I wore a structured gown with a deep V neck and cascading ruffles leading up to a train. Oh the fun I had dressed in this not so basic black gown.

As you can see I’m still celebrating, for as long as the calendar says March like I stated here and here. One more week and my head will be out of the clouds. Until then, I'll just keep eating cake.

The countdown is on for Spring Break and I’m totally juiced. Good times are about to roll in, <dancing emoji>.

How was your week? Thanks for all the get well wishes from my last post. I still can’t shake this flu, but had to go back to work cos I’m a darn good worker bee, hehe.

Something weird happened on Saturday. A phone exchange. My phone rings and I pick up. It was a gal on the other end.

Her: Hello my name is blah blah and I’ll love to have your address so I can send you an invite to my wedding.

Me: (taken aback) Do I know you?

Her: No you don’t know me but I know you and want to invite you.

Me: Um, hmm, how did you get my number?

Her: I had been asking around and finally someone gave it to me.

Me: Oh ok, who did?

Her: I can’t tell but I’d love it if you'd attend. The service will be at blah blah and reception at blah blah.

Me: Still trying to find my voice, but I don’t know you and it'd be awkward. Are you on FB?

Her: No

Me: Do you follow me on Instagram?

Her: No, but I'd really love to have you there.
