We have recently communicated the publication of Parts 1, 2, and 3 of a series of books on Washington DC area restaurants. (See).
Part 4 is now available. It addresses fourteen restaurants that we have categorized as “old timers”. Three of them are now closed but remained open for more than twenty years: Le Vieux Logis (40 years); Restaurant Nora (38 years); Makoto (24 years). The other eleven old timers have all been open for more than twenty years and are still going on. These eleven restaurants and respective opening dates are: Old Angler’s Inn (1957); L’Auberge Chez François (1976); The Red Fox Inn and Tavern (1976); Hunter’s Bar & Grill (1977); L’Auberge Provençale (1981); La Ferme (1985); i Ricchi (1989); Pesce (1991); Bistrot Lepic & Wine Bar (1995); Cesco Osteria (1997); Tavira (1999).
Stay tuned because more books will be coming soon.
